Young Justice! It does justice to the League!

When I first caught sight (or I guess, maybe heard -- I cant even remember how) of the Young Justice show, I must admit I wasn't that at all "excited" about it. I mean, Justice League was a great superhero series (ok, maybe a bit better than Superfriends ;-) and the latter Justice League Unlimited was simply uber great! (I always wanted to use the word uber) so I gave YJ a chance and watch the first 3 episodes (and it was just meh) but I know that the DC franchise is pretty much very decent in churning out very good animated serieses --well at least the featured ones (ok, mostly Batman/Superman stuff) which are most of the contents of this blog come to think of it....and besides, I already had the episodes streaming into my u-knowhatorrentclient. Well, you know what? It turns out that YJ is probably the best animated series I've watched in a long time (ever since , Spectacular Spider-man was cancelled :( It's has a deep, complex storylines and comedy to boot, because of its youthful and hip line-up of superheroes as you can see below, barbs and wit are a great part of the show.
From left to right: Aqualad, Megan (Martian girl), Robin, Superboy and Kid Flash

There's going to be lot of characters that will be introduced as the show progresses. Just (pun) be patient and you'll see what I'm talking about. If you want, you can download a few episodes here to see if it'll grow on you. I'm pretty sure you will be. This is definitely one of those "stuff that clog up my pc"

Welcome back!

Hello again! =) to those of you who happen to have "wondered..erm, wandered" into my blog. Thanks for browsing. I know, its been such a looooong time! A 3-year hiatus of sorts since my last post way back....can't even remember (not that many Android phones yet). Well, a lot has happend since then so you'll pardon me if I'm just going to be catching up on stuff (they're still a lot floating around on my hard drive).  I'm actually, "re-starting" my other blog (comics2read.blogspot.com) too and started a new one (chronikeler.blogspot.com).

Anyways, without further ado, I thought long and hard (uhmmm, not really) on what my well, "comeback" post should be about, and since I know this blog all started with my "love" for Avatar the Last Airbender, Legend of Aang....collecting all the series episodes and watching them on my mobile phone....what better way to "re-start" it again with its "sequel" (dunno if this is the correct term): Avatar the Legend of Korra (the Avatar Aang's successor)
Now I know what you're thinking this is "old" stuff...yeah, but I only "re-discovered" this midway last year 2012, and forgot about it for some time. Honestly, nothing beats the original series...but I thought it is only "fitting & proper" that The Last Airbender...erm, The Avatar (now a Water Bender and a girl) series be not be forgotten! Besides, this is STILL a great show...the fact that it got "demanded" back for Second (2nd) Season (yes, there will be another this 2013) just goes to show how awesome this series is and you better re-watch it (again)! Speaking of "fitting"...all the files below are in .FLV or Flash player format, since most mobile phones and tablets nowadays are on AndroidOS...i didnt bother converting them anymore (but feel free to ask a format you'd prefer) and I'll see what I can do.

Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths

Yeah I know, like really? So soon?!? Another Crisis?!? (this time it's animated?!?) Actually, I'm not really a big fan of DC comics or their animated features which to me are somewhat "forgettable" (Sorry, DC fans!). Yes, even the last one I posted titled: Batman/Superman: Public Enemies or the Justice League: New Frontier. Well, except for Batman of course! I think I do have have a lot "Batman stuff" scattered in this yer blog. Just do a search. Anyways, having said that, I am posting soon the title below: Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, and I must say, I am impressed with this one folks...ok, and it's not because William Baldwin is in it or a host of uhmm..."better known" actors...but because...well, it's got a lot of kick-ass action sequences and a much better storyline! It's like watching (again) those Justice League animated cartoon series! (the ones i happen to like). And, well, I'm not going to spoil the ending (don't worry about that...i just ramble anyways)...but any Batman fan would already know why he's the greatest after watching this one =)

Hell Yeah!

The past several months beginning last Dec has been a bit of hell for me (like you wouldn't believe...) so this seems an appropriate post...(uhmmm...not really but it's got "Hell" in the title)...and fans of the comic book character(s) created by Mike Mignola with Dark Horse comics will certainly enjoy this series:
The files have been HJSplit into four parts, so you'll have to find and get the proggie (don't worry, its a small download for a very useful app, it doesnt even need to be installed!)
